The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region invites you to take a virtual trip to the country and visit WindReach Farm in Ashburn, Ontario!
Happening every Monday until August 31, you will be taken on a guided local tour of WindReach Farm to see the animals on the property, as well as learn about harvesting, horticulture, and plants.

• No Bake Simple Recipe - 3 Minute Fudge:
Ingredients: 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 can of condensed milk sweetened, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Recipe: Pour chocolate chips and condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl, microwave for 1 minute, stir together until melted (may have to do another 30 seconds in the microwave), stir in vanilla extract. Pour into pan and set in refrigerator until hard (about 1-2 hours).

After two of this pair's nests were destroyed, the Raptor Resource Project team began constructing this nest with the hopes that the eagles would take it over and build upon it--and they have! • BBC Reminiscence Archive - A number of reminiscence systems have been developed for people with dementia, based on photographs, photo books, boxes of objects and materials and interactive computer applications. The BBC wants to contribute to this growing set of supports for people with dementia and their carers by drawing on the enormous fund of photos, videos, and sound clips in its archives.

The Joy4All project offers a free telephone line and a friendly voice on the other end.
